New Resource for Sacred Landmarks! "Accessible Faith: A Technical Guide for Accessibility in Houses of Worship," recently published by The Retirement Research Foundation in coordination with Partners for Sacred Places, is a comprehensive 50-page guide to help congregations navigate building-related code requirements for accessibility, identify design solutions for common physical, auditory, and visual barriers, and provide technical guidance on planning, financing, contacting and incorporating access into their houses of worship. This guide can be downloaded for free from The Retirement Research Foundation's website, www.rrf.org, or hard copies can be purchased from Partners for Sacred Places, www.sacredplaces.org. |
