Easements and Charitable Gifts Can Protect Historic Properties

Ross Bradford, Assistant General Counsel for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will be in Cleveland on Friday, May 11, 2007 to discuss how charitable gifts of historic property and preservation easements can assist individuals in meeting their estate planning needs and contribute to local historic preservation efforts.  The Cleveland Restoration Society is sponsoring this Planned Giving Breakfast from 8:15 -10:00 a.m. at the Sarah Benedict House, 3751 Prospect Avenue.  Individuals and professional advisors are encouraged to attend.  The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required.  To RSVP, call 216-426-1000 or email dbremer@clevelandrestoration.org.

The Cleveland Restoration Society is the region’s largest non-profit preservation organization and is a Local Partner affiliate of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  Founded in 1972, the Society is dedicated to the preservation of Greater Cleveland’s historic resources.
