Heritage Home Program Open House

10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

 

The Heritage Home Program has expanded to Summit County.  Join us on Saturday, July 21^st at 10:00 a.m. for the press conference and a first look at the Heritage Home Program’s new office in the historic Old No. 3 Firehouse located in Akron’s historic West Hill Neighborhood! The conference will feature Ohio Housing Finance Agency, KeyBank, the City of Akron and a brief presentation by the Cleveland Restoration Society detailing the Program.

 

Since 2001, the Heritage Home Program has helped hundreds of homeowners take a historic preservation approach to their home maintenance and renovation projects through expert technical assistance and low-interest loans.  Starting August 15, 2007 the Heritage Home Program, which recently launched in Akron’s West Hill Neighborhood, will be available throughout the city of Akron!

Snyder and Snyder Real Estate, Inc., housed in a restored Queen Anne Victorian home, will also be open for tours at 36 South Maple Street.

 

Light refreshments will be served.

 

*Due to unexpected repairs, the firehouse does not currently have a working elevator and our second floor office is, therefore, not handicapped accessible. We apologize for this inconvenience.
