Applications Sought for Preservation Awards

The Cleveland Restoration Society seeks nominations for its 2007 Preservation Awards which will be announced at the Celebration of Preservation held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square.  Each year, the awards recognize exemplary projects and individuals who have made a significant, positive impact in the revitalization of Northeast Ohio through historic preservation.  Projects must be completed and put into service as of March 30, 2007 and nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m., March 30, 2007.  Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Society’s website: www.clevelandrestoration.org or contact Sarah Beimers at 216-426-3106 or sbeimers@clevelandrestoration.org.

The Cleveland Restoration Society is the region’s largest non-profit preservation organization and is a Local Partner affiliate of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  Founded in 1972, the Society is dedicated to the preservation of Greater Cleveland’s historic resources.
