Neighborhood Revitalization Expert to Speak in University Circle

Historic preservation is a key tool in revitalizing urban neighborhoods. Stanley A. Lowe, the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Vice President of Community Revitalization will speak at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Mount Zion Congregational Church, 10723 Magnolia Drive, in University Circle.

Mr. Lowe, a nationally recognized authority on the use of historic preservation to revitalize and improve the quality of life in our country’s older cities, towns and villages, will discuss his successful experiences in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood and elsewhere. He will also engage the audience in a conversation about historic preservation developments and opportunities in Cleveland. A reception will follow. Sponsored by the Cleveland Restoration Society, Neighborhood Progress, Inc., City Architecture, Inc., and VIP Restoration, Inc. The event is FREE and open to the public. Space is limited.
