RESTORATION SOCIETY RELAUNCHES
WEBSITE
The Cleveland Restoration
Society & Preservation Resource Center of Northeastern Ohio (CRS/PRC)
has retooled its website to better assist owners of older and historic
properties in Northeast Ohio. The new site, www.clevelandrestoration.org,
provides information on CRS/PRC programs and resources that help
homeowners, owners of income-producing properties and religious congregations
with the maintenance, restoration and rehabilitation of their properties.
Visitors to the website
can learn about the tools like low-interest loans, historic tax credits
and preservation easements that are available to owners of older
and historic homes in Cuyahoga County. On-line forms enable visitors
to request technical assistance from CRS/PRC staff, RSVP for events,
and nominate a property for a preservation award. The site contains
helpful links to local preservation organizations and historical
societies, useful articles on topics such as “How to hire and
work with a contractor” and “How to organize to save
a threatened building,” and information on Cleveland’s
housing styles.
The Cleveland Restoration
Society & Preservation Resource Center of Northeastern Ohio is
the region’s largest non-profit preservation organization and
is a Local Partner affiliate of the National Trust. Founded in 1972,
the Society is dedicated to the preservation of Greater Cleveland’s
historic resources.
