EVENT TO BENEFIT SACRED LANDMARKS

On Saturday, October 18, 2003, the Cleveland Restoration Society/Preservation Resource Center of Northeastern Ohio will hold its Seventh Annual Sacred Landmarks Benefit at the Old Stone Church and Higbee’s Silver Grille on Cleveland’s Public Square. Bracy E. Lewis is Honorary Chairman.

The evening will begin with cocktails in the Higbee Building Lobby, followed by an inspirational musical and ecumenical program at Old Stone Church. Guests will then enjoy an elegant seated dinner and an opportunity to bid on a wide array of silent auction offerings at Higbee’s Silver Grille.

This event raises much-needed funding for the Cleveland Restoration Society’s Sacred Landmarks Assistance Program, an interdenominational program to assist religious institutions in Northeastern Ohio with the repair and maintenance of their properties. The Sacred Landmarks Assistance Program provides reliable technical assistance to congregations that own architecturally significant buildings and serve the multiple needs of their communities.

The event is open to the public; tickets range in price from $175 for an individual to $5,000 for a “Gold Table” table of eight. For reservations or additional information, call the Society at (216) 426-1000.

The Cleveland Restoration Society/Preservation Resource Center of Northeastern Ohio is the region’s largest non-profit preservation organization and is a Local Partner affiliate of the National Trust. Founded in 1972, the Society is dedicated to the preservation of greater Cleveland’s historic resources.
