RESTORATION SOCIETY PROMOTES TWO DIRECTORS

The Cleveland Restoration Society/Preservation Resource Center of Northeastern Ohio has promoted Michael Fleenor to Director of Preservation Loan Programs and Deanna Bremer to Director of Marketing.

Since joining the Society’s staff, Michael has assisted homeowners and organizations across Cleveland and the Neighborhood Historic Preservation Program has flourished under his care. After working in publishing, he earned an M.A. in Public History with an emphasis in Historic Preservation and worked for the Tennessee Historical Commission. As Director, Michael oversees the daily activities of both the Neighborhood Historic Preservation Program and the Heritage Home Loan Program.

Deanna Bremer joined the Society following a successful corporate marketing career with American Greetings and Matrix Essentials. She will lead the Society’s new membership development campaign. She will also act as the local partner contact for “History is in Our Hands,” a three-year public service advertising campaign created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Ad Council. Her proven expertise in development of marketing and promotional strategies has already resulted in stronger and more efficient member relations and event planning. Deanna holds a B.A. in History from Oberlin College and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

The Cleveland Restoration Society/Preservation Resource Center of Northeastern Ohio is the region’s largest non-profit preservation organization and is a Local Partner affiliate of the National Trust. Founded in 1972, the Society is dedicated to the preservation of greater Cleveland’s historic resources.
