northeastern Ohio at Cleveland Restoration Society events. Discover
our region's wealth of architectural resources and learn about the
threats to their continued survival. Go “behind the scenes” and
enter doors to landmarks and private homes not typically accessible
to the public.

Historic House Workshop Series
This summer
CRS is teaming up with Stan Hywet
Hall & Gardens and Progress
Through Preservation in Akron to present a series of four Saturday
morning workshops for owners of historic homes. Topics for the
workshops include Maintenance and Efficiency, Exterior Painting,
Landscaping, and a Contractor Discussion Panel. The first workshop
will be on June 14. Each class includes a tour of the beautiful

Celebration of Heritage
A Spotlight on Cleveland's Diversity
CRS's 2008
benefit will showcase Cleveland's Central neighborhood and its proud
African-American heritage. The evening gala will include a musical
program at St. John A. M. E. Church, the first black church established
in Cleveland, and a tour of Emeritus House, the recently rehabilitated
home of the Phillis Wheatley Association. More information will be
available soon.
